We’re Strodesters : Creators of the world's first uniquely designed e-bike that offers perfectly-tailored and guided local experiences. Hop on to decode the Strode e-biking experience.

As travelers ourselves, we were disenchanted with how travel was getting lost within selfies and social media stories for most of us. For a generation as insatiably curious and wired as Gen Z - calm down Millennials, you’re groovy too - the gap between demand and supply of local knowledge was staggering. Here we were, posting away every second of our fabulous travels and yet, the magic was missing. The childlike joy of discovery, the intimacy, the slow unraveling of a destination; everything was hidden in plain sight.

Thus, Strode was born.

Strode is a travel-tech platform strictly focused on serving local experiences. We leverage the power of technology to connect you deeper on ground - to places, people, sights and sounds. We take you off the touristy tracks, but keep you engaged in the offbeat destinations, pairing your innate curiosity with in-built, authentic content. Our e-bikes are modern day magicians and sexy showstoppers.

At Strode, we’re determined to preserve our planet’s pristine places. From hill stations to national parks, traffic, noise, pollution and parking is severely contributing towards an ecological imbalance. Our solution is practical and once implemented at scale can bring these beautiful destinations back to their original glory. Let's take that first step with Strode.

EMPOWER LOCALS

Our destinations today have less than 1% local guides against active daily travellers. We’ve scouted the best, most knowledgeable and experienced local guides, hosts and tour operators in each of our destinations. While this boosts local economy and indigenous skill, you get enriched by these hand-picked talents and their wonderful life experiences.

FUNDING CONSERVATION

We invest 5% of our revenues not profits for afforestation projects on our selected signature trails. For now, we've picked up two initiatives where we contribute actively i.e. afforestation and heritage restoration. Our local Strodesters help us identify and scale up these micro-missions. We believe in complete transparency and share quarterly updates illustrating the progression with our contributors.

MEANINGFUL MOVEMENTS

The Oxford dictionary defines travel as ‘going from one place to another, typically over a distance of some length’. But what is movement without meaning! Whether you’re creating deeply personal memories or learning a new skill from a forgotten artisanal craftsman at a niche destination, travel without memories is just… empty miles. Travelling on Strode opens you up to newer channels of heart, emotion and depth in the experiences you undertake.

Strode : Founded in mid 2022 where a bunch of experiential travel lovers came together to create a travel gadget which would completely re-define the way we move as explorers. As travellers, we appreciate how travel was assuredly turning niche and experiential for many of us today. We were attentively observing the rise of slow travel, growing participation in local experiences and raw expeditions like never before. Globally, luxury travel companies had already picked up the trend but they sell highly priced packaged tours and those were not affordable.

To fetch that perfect travel experience we went and figured the 3 must-haves :

Our e-bike is a perfect combination of top-notch hardware, technology and content that makes it the world's first and only self-guided e-bike. We only operate limited theme based itineraries curated by our team of young travel experts and travel influencers who bring in new travel styles for that unique taste you crave for. These ebikes are connected to our proprietary live guide technology that offers personalised travelling at scale.
